I spent 15 years doing humanitarian work for the UN, UNICEF, and the Red Cross — meaningful work, but brutal on my health. I pushed through tropical diseases, near-death security situations, exhaustion, and anxiety, telling myself I could handle it.


I couldn't. I was bedridden with degenerative disc disease. Dependent on painkillers. Digestion shut down. Depressed. Completely lost. The medical system kept me alive — but it couldn't show me how to actually heal.


So I took charge. I rebuilt myself through evidence-based nutrition, strategic movement, sleep optimization, yoga, and mindset work — testing everything and keeping what worked. Within a year, I was 95% pain-free.
