DAVID ITO WELLNESS
A blissful and deeply soothing combination of Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra to reduce stress in body, mind and spirit. By the end of the workshop, you will feel a deep sense of relaxation and physical/emotional/mental release.
No previous yoga experience required.
All ages and body types are welcome.
WORKSHOP CONTENT
Warm Up
Soothing breath work and gentle movements on the floor.
Restorative Yoga
With the use of cushions, bolsters and blankets, we will gently hold restorative yoga poses (gravity based, no muscle activation) to release tightness in the body.
Yoga Nidra
While comfortably laying on the floor, I will guide you through the Traditional 4 Stages of Yoga Nidra. These stages are different forms of guided meditation using body scanning, visualization and imagination.
Yoga Nidra has been proven effective for post-traumatic stress, panic and sleep disorders as it promotes the removal of excess cortisol (stress hormone) from the system and increases anti-anxiety neurotransmitters in your body.
